You might have sinned and made mistakes (and you probably will make more) but the Good News of the Gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ is that He lets you off the consequences of your sins if you can see and believe in the substitute!

Since no man could meet God’s standard, He sent His Son, Jesus, to come in the flesh and live as a man. He met God’s standard because He lived without sin, and took our place as the ‘perfect’ substitute. Glory!

I personally believe that Adam was a man of faith. He knew how to worship God because he taught his sons – Cain and Abel – to worship God and approach Him the right way, which is through a blood sacrifice: a ‘ransom.’ It had to be a guiltless one to atone for the guilty one.

God’s desire and intent has always been to do man good (Deuteronomy 8:16). He created man to love and to be in a loving relationship with him; His design was for man to be the ‘god’ of the earth He created.
