Since no man could meet God’s standard, He sent His Son, Jesus, to come in the flesh and live as a man. He met God’s standard because He lived without sin, and took our place as the ‘perfect’ substitute. Glory!
It is important to know that God is both a ‘just’ God and a ‘merciful’ God. As a just God, He must punish sin with death. God, however, is also gracious!
I personally believe that Adam was a man of faith. He knew how to worship God because he taught his sons – Cain and Abel – to worship God and approach Him the right way, which is through a blood sacrifice: a ‘ransom.’ It had to be a guiltless one to atone for the guilty one.
Hebrews 11:4 says that “BY FAITH Abel offered to God a more excellent SACRIFICE than Cain, through which he obtained witness that he was righteous, God testifying of his gifts; and through it he being dead still speaks.” Abel was accepted of God because there was a ransom – a ‘sacrifice’ that paid for all his sins, shortfa...
God’s desire and intent has always been to do man good (Deuteronomy 8:16). He created man to love and to be in a loving relationship with him; His design was for man to be the ‘god’ of the earth He created.

And he came near and kissed him; and HE SMELLED THE SMELL OF HIS CLOTHING, and blessed him and said: “Surely, THE SMELL OF MY SON is like the smell of a field which the Lord has blessed. Genesis 27:27 Jesus taught in John 16:23, “And in THAT DAY you will ask Me nothing. Most assuredly, I say to you, WHATEVER YOU ASK THE FATHER IN MY NAME He will give you.” What ‘day’ was Jesus referring to?
There’s a Nigerian adage which says ‘what you are looking for in Sokoto (the name of a State) is in your shokoto (trousers). God will not ask you for what you don’t have. God never asked anyone to give what they did not have. He used what they had and it was enough to give them what they needed. Besides, even what you think you have was given to you by God. So He knows what you have. What He gave to you is what He needs to bring increase to your life.
What you want is buried inside what you have. It takes revelation to discover what you have and its potential.

Have you ever tried to put yourself in the disciples’ shoes? Have you ever wondered what it felt like when Jesus told them He would be going away? They left all they had to follow Him. Hopefully, He would be king and restore their kingdom to them. He healed Peter’s mother-in-law, He fed five thousand men, He changed their lives and gave them relevance. It was nice to be hanging around the one who had the answer to all of life’s problems. He made them famous. He extended His power and authority to them; sending them out in twos to do the same things He did. They found purpose. Then he begins to...
5 Jesus answered, verily, verily, I say unto thee, except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God. 6 That which is born of the flesh is flesh; and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit. 7 Marvel not that I said unto thee, Ye must be born again.
The finished work of Jesus is just that – FINISHED! It was a triple cure. It was a done deal. It affected all of humanity spirit, soul and body for good. Man is a spirit, he has a soul and lives in a body. And that’s the order in scripture.

For a child of God, money is not a reward, it is an inheritance!
God Needs You Prosperous
The only true instrument of real change in people’s lives is the Word of God. If the propagation of the gospel means anything to you as a believer then you will know that money is important. Money is vital in the spread of the gospel.
John 1:4 says, “In Him was life; and the life was the light of men.” The word translated ‘light’ also means development. The gospel is the light. The gospel is what brings development. It is the gospel that eradicates poverty. This gospel is what brings healing and restorati...
Hebrews 4:1-3 KJV (1) Let us therefore fear, lest, a promise being left us of entering into his rest, any of you should seem to come short of it. (2) For unto us was THE GOSPEL PREACHED, as well as unto them: but THE WORD preached did not profit them, not BEING MIXED WITH FAITH in them that heard it. (3) For we which have BELIEVED DO ENTER INTO REST, as he said, As I have sworn in my wrath, if they shall enter into my rest: although the works were finished from the foundation of the world.
There is rest for every child of God in Christ Jesus!
God has provided rest for us and all the bible a...
